Adi Lakshmi 
Sumanasa vandhitha , madhavi
Chandra sahodhari himamaye,
Munigana manditha , moksha pradhayini ,
manjula bhashini , veda nuthe,
Pankaja vasini deva supoojitha
sadguna varshani , santhiyuthe,
Jaya Jaya hey madhusoodhana kamini
Adi Lakshmi sada palaya maam.

Meaning:
Victory and victory to Adi Lakshmi
Oh, darling of the killer of Madhusudhanan,
Who is pretty and sister of the moon,,
Who looks as if she is made of gold,
Who is saluted by all sages,
Who grants salvation,
Who talks sweet words,
Who is praised by Vedas,
Who lives on the Lotus flower,
Who is worshipped by all devas,
And who is the personification of peace,
Please protect us all the time.



Dhanya Lakshmi
Ahi kali kalmasha nasini, kamini,
Vaidhika roopini, veda maye,Ksheera samudhbhava mangala roopini,
Manthra nivasini, manthranuthe,
Mangala dhayini, ambuja vasini,
deva ganarchitha padayuthe,
Jaya Jaya he madhusoodhana kamini
Dhanyalakshmi sada palaya maam.

Meaning:
Victory and victory to Dhanyalakshmi
Oh darling of the killer of Madhusudhanan,
Who destroys bad effects of kali yuga,
Who is most desirable God,
Who is personification of Vedas,
Who is pervaded by the Vedas,
Who arose out of milk,
Who is the form of all that is good,
Who lives in the sacred chants,
Who lives on the Lotus flower,
Who is worshipped by all devas,

Victory to Lakshmi of Courage(Dhairya)
Oh Vishnu sakthi swarupini
Oh Courageous Lakshmi eulogised by the Sastras
Who is worshipped by all devas
Who destroys our fears of samsaric afflictions
Who liberates us from all our sins
Whose feet are worshipped by holy people
Who lives on Lotus flower, please protect us all the time.


Gaja Lakshmi
Jaya Jaya Durgathi nasini kamini,
Sarva phala pradha sastra maye,
Rathha gaja thuraga padathi samavrutha,
Parijana manditha lokanuthe,
Harihara Brahma supujitha sevitha ,
Thapa nivarini pada yuthe,
Jaya Jaya he madhusoodhana kamini
Gaja Lakshmi sada palaya maam

Meaning:
Victory to You, Oh Gaja(Elephant) Lakshmi
The darling of Lord Madhu Sudhana,
Who destroys our misfortunes and grants boons,
Who is worshipped by Hari  Haran and Brahma
Who is surrounded by army of Elephants,
Horses, Chariots and Cavalry
Whose feet give relief from all sufferings

Santana Lakshmi
Ahi kagha vahini, mohini, chakrini,
raga vivrdhni , jnanamaye,
Gunagana varidhi , Loka hithaishini ,
Swara saptha bhooshitha gana nuthe,
Sakala surasura deva muneeswara ,
Manhava vandhitha padayuthe,

Santana Lakshmi sada palaya maam.

Meaning:
Victory  to Santana Lakshmi
Oh, darling of the killer of Madhu,
Who rides on the bird and holds chakra in the hand
Who is an enchantress of the world and embodiment of jnanam(Wisdom)
Who pacifies emotions,
Who is pervaded by knowledge,Who is ocean of good qualities,
Who has her mind in the good of all the world,
Who is worshipped by the music of seven swaras,
And who is worshipped by all devas, asuras,
Sages and all humans,

Jaya kamalasini , sadgathi dayini,
jnana vikasini ganamaye,
Anudina marchitha kumkuma dhoosara
bhooshitha vaasitha vadhyanuthe,

Glossary


Vaikuntham – Is believed to be Lord Narayana’s abode. The true meaning of Vaikuntham is a place where only Peace, Love, Purity, Truth and Happiness reside.

A person who has attained all the above virtues will feel that he is in Vaikuntham.


Aarthi/Arti/Harathi/Harati - This is spelled in different ways. The origin of the of the word is from Sanskrit i.e., Aaratrik. This is a hindu religious ritual in worship. It is part of puja(prayer) to the God. It contains light from wicks soaked in ghee and is offered to God while chanting mantras.
